Now, let’s go make 2 mugs. One for you, one for your sweetie.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups water
  • 3 inches fresh turmeric root, sliced, or 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 4 inches fresh ginger root, sliced, or 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 2 teaspoons honey or dark liquid stevia to taste
  • 1 full lemon, juiced
  • 2 ounces raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
  • Sprinkle of cayenne pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Bring the water, turmeric, and ginger to boil in a small pot on the stove and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the other ingredients to 2 mugs, divided equally.
  3. Strain the boiled spice tea into your mugs and stir. (Be careful, turmeric stains! Pour over the sink to be safe and make sure you don’t end up with a mug ring on your countertop.)
  4. Sip & savor
